Removable Bridge (Partial)

A removable bridge is an excellent alternative when implants or a fixed bridge is not the right solution. The adjacent teeth are used to support a bridge that is removable. A removable bridge facilitates cleaning of the remaining teeth. Removable bridges can replace lost bone and gum tissue contours, thereby supporting areas of the face and jawbone that may have a caved-in appearance. Implants are occasionally used as support for removable bridges when indicated.

How do you make a removable bridge?

At the first visit, an impression is taken with very little alteration to the remaining teeth. The removable bridge framework is custom-made by a laboratory. This framework and teeth are tried in for a custom preview of the final result. Once you are satisfied with the appearance of the removable bridge, then it is sent back to the laboratory for final completion.
